The federal government has allocated funding, through the Florida Hardest-Hit Fund, to provide temporary assistance and help pay the mortgages of qualified homeowners who are unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own.

Unemployment Mortgage Assistance Program:

If you are unemployed or underemployed, on your first mortgage, this program will provide up to 12 months of payments (capped at $24,000) until you can resume full payments on your own.

Additionally, up to $18,000 can be paid to help satisfy all or some of any past due amounts owed; this assistance, if necessary, will be paid before the aforementioned monthly payments.

The total assistance available is up to $42,000.

To find out if you qualify for assistance, please visit www.FLHardestHitHelp.org and use Referral Code 12084 when completing your application. Or, please e-mail info@cful.org with any questions.

Mortgage Loan Reinstatement Payment (MLRP) Program:
