Mission:To assist Central Floridians in achieving social and economic equality through volunteerism and community service.About the Guild:The Central Florida Urban League Guild is a volunteer auxiliary of the Central Florida Urban League. The Guild engages experienced volunteers of any age who possess a diverse cross-section of talents and abilities, and who express a passion for getting involved, empowering communities and changing lives.Guild members participate through volunteer initiatives, program support and fundraising activities. By leveraging its members extensive experience and knowledge, the Guild advances the work of the Central Florida Urban League on numerous community issues dealing with Education, Housing, Healthcare and Civic Engagement. History:Founded in 1942, the Guild is considered by many to be the heart and soul of the Urban League movement.
