Travaris McCurdy | School Liaison for the CFUL Reading Program

Travaris McCurdy serves as a School Liaison for the CFUL Reading Program.

From 2014 to 2019, Travaris previously served as the Chief Legislative Aide to Florida State Senators, Geraldine F. Thompson and Randolph Bracy. He has also served as the Deputy Political Director for the National Super PAC, For Our Future and currently serves on the National Board of Trustees for the governing body for the National Association for the Preservation of African American History and Culture.

Travaris takes great pride in giving back to the community and is the founder of the Mobile Library service, which provides free books to children throughout Orange County. He also serves on the advisory boards for the OCPS ACE Community school and the West Lakes Partnership as well as worked on numerous successful political campaigns, including that of Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill.

A graduate of Olympia High School in Orlando, Travaris attended Florida A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.
