The Central Florida Urban League would like to thank Fifth Third Bank for being a key community partner of ours for the last seven years. Over the course of our partnership, Fifth Third Bank has contributed both time and money in helping our community break the cycle of generational poverty.



Specifically, Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment Mobile, or the eBus has really helped bring financial education to our both youth and adults in our community. With the eBus, community members were able to obtain their credit reports and scores and then review them with a professional banker, have a personal evaluation of finances, learn about online banking and its benefits as well as use the eBus to search for jobs online as well as even open up a bank account. 

Additionally, Fifth Third Bank has helped provide key support to both small and minority owned businesses in our community. Entrepreneurship is one of our organization’s Three E’s and your help in educating our entrepreneurs and helping them avoid the pitfalls that they might run into has led to their continued success.

The support of our partners is critical in ensuring that our community breaks the cycle of generational poverty. Financial Literacy is the first step in ensuring that our community understands the importance of properly safeguarding and preparing their financial future. These skills, in addition to the CFUL’s wide range of upskilling courses, has given countless individuals the opportunity to better themselves and those around them.
