The impact of the Heart of Florida United Way begins and ends in their name. The organization is the beating heart of our community as it is with their support and contributions that we have been able to lift up thousands of youth and upskill hundreds of adults in our community.



Working alongside the Heart of Florida United Way, the Central Florida Urban League has been able to provide after-school mentoring for our youth, helping them continue down the right path towards personal and academic success. The impact of a mentor in the life of a child cannot be understated – and this positive influence has enabled our youth to make smart choices in life. Additionally, the Heart of Florida United Way has been a true partner in supporting our efforts to provide job skills training to our parents in the community – thus helping us work towards achieving our goal of breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
