In honor of National Poetry Month, join UCF and the City of Orlando to celebrate Central Florida’s vibrant poetry and spoken word community with City of Orlando Poet Laureate Shawn Welcome, Orlando’s inaugural poet laureate, Susan Lilley who served from 2017-2021, and Orlando Poet Laureate finalists, who are UCF faculty members — Terry Thaxton, Chrissy Kolaya and Martha Brenckle. All will present their unique and inspiring poetry.
